The Zebra ZD621-HC premium desktop printer was designed with a particular focus on durable label printing in the healthcare industry. With its UV-resistant, disinfect-ready plastic housing, sealed button interface and IEC 60601-1 compliant power supply, it meets all requirements for use in healthcare settings. Its maximum print speed in thermal transfer or direct thermal mode is 203 mm/sec. at a resolution of 203 dpi or 152 mm/sec. at 300 dpi. Simple operation is ensured by the 4.3" color LCD touchscreen with intuitive menu navigation, three additional control buttons and five integrated status LEDs. The ZD621-HC is further equipped with an optional battery function, mobile media sensor, 256 MB SDRAM and 512 MB flash memory. The wide choice of interfaces guarantees rapid integration into existing networks and simplifies direct connection to a PC. It consists of USB 2.0, USB host, Ethernet, serial, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and NFC. Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 are available as options. The ZD621-HC is further supported by Zebra’s innovative “Print DNA” tools.
