The Newland HR15 Wahoo BT SD is a wireless 1D portable scanner that stands out for its Bluetooth 5.0 technology. This technology ensures a strong, interference-free connection for data transmission. The scanner combines Newland's proprietary UIMG decoding with the latest linear imager scanning technology for rapid scanning of 1D codes. The HR15 Wahoo BT SD is perfectly suited to point-of-sale (POS) use. It features a stand design for hands-free scanning, especially ideal for POS applications. The scanner can then be held by hand to scan oversized objects without having to handle cables. With a drop resistance of 1.5 meters and an IP42 rating, the HR15 Wahoo BT SD can withstand a fall from a high workbench or counter onto hard floors without issue. IP42 rating provides sufficient waterproofing for dirty and humid environments. The scanner is ideal for industries such as retail, warehousing, healthcare, postal and public sector.
