Whether in retail, logistics, transportation, pharmacy or hospitality, the Datalogic Gryphon I GM4500 is everyone's favorite, thanks to its proactive scanning capabilities. The handheld scanner fits both the left and right hand, impresses with its elegant design, is intuitive to use and convinces with its inner values! The Gryphon is equipped with a new wireless charging function that allows the barcode scanner to be charged quickly and easily via induction. Since it does not have a charging port, it is less fragile and more durable. Scanned data is transmitted wirelessly via narrow-band radio, using Datalogic's Star Wireless system. The Gryphon scans 1D, 2D and optionally Digimarc barcodes at fast speed - and with eye-friendly white backlighting. This type of lighting is ideal for reading low-contrast colored barcodes. The Gryphon has a very large depth of field, thanks to which it also captures barely readable or damaged barcodes in no time. Using Datalogic Motionix motion sensors, it automatically switches during scanning between the currently needed scanning mode in handheld or stand mode. The barcode reader is particularly robust, thanks to its IP52 certification and its resistance to falls from heights of up to 1.8 m. Its charging/transfer station has a multi-interface with USB, RS-232 and a keyboard corner.
