Datalogic's Gryphon range of barcode readers is popular with professionals in commerce, logistics, transportation, pharmacy and the hotel and catering industry. With its proactive playback features, the Gryphon GBT4500 Bluetooth is also a must-have. Suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users, it impresses with its elegant design, intuitive use and exceptional performance.

Thanks to its new wireless charging function, the Gryphon player charges quickly and easily by induction. Without a charging port, it is more resistant. Data transfer is also wireless: the Gryphon GBT4500 is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE.

The Gryphon reads 1D, 2D and, optionally, Digimarc barcodes at blazing speed, thanks to an eye-friendly white backlight. This type of lighting is particularly suitable for reading low-contrast color barcodes. The Gryphon has a very high depth of field, allowing it to quickly capture even hard-to-read or damaged barcodes. Using Datalogic Motionix motion sensors, the reader automatically switches between handheld scanning mode and stand mode while scanning.

This barcode reader is particularly robust thanks to its IP52 certification and its resistance to falls up to 1.8 m in height. The charging/transfer station features a multiple interface with USB, RS-232 and keyboard support.
