With the Gryphon I 4500-HC, Datalogic has developed a high-end wired portable barcode reader for hospitals, laboratories, retirement homes, pharmacies and other healthcare establishments. Its elegant design and clean lines, combined with excellent ergonomics, will immediately appeal. Its antimicrobial coated housing resists regular disinfection, even with harsh cleaning products. The reader is available with two interfaces: a single USB connection or a multiple interface with USB, RS-232 and keyboard.

Another major advantage of the Gryphon I 4500-HC: its white lighting. The latter protects the user's eyes and optimizes the reading of color barcodes. Four illuminated dots and a crosshair in the reading field make targeting easier. Its high movement tolerance allows rapid reading of 1D and 2D barcodes, even in difficult conditions. Thanks to its ease of use, the Gryphon I 4500-HC is a valuable asset, particularly on a daily basis in the healthcare sector.

Wireless models with wireless charging system are available. The Gryphon I GM4500 transmits scanned data via narrowband radio, while the Gryphon I GBT4500 uses Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE.
