Honeywell has expanded its range of high-performance linear scanners with its Voyager 1250g, a lightweight and highly ergonomic handheld scanner. It has inherited its single line laser scanning engine from the successful 1200g and has very impressive reading properties. This scanner recognizes virtually all linear barcodes, even if they are poorly printed or damaged. With the 1250g, Honeywell offers a professional, ready-to-use solution with automatic configuration and interface recognition, for minimal installation effort. Its design has been optimized for intensive scanning operations. In addition, it guarantees high throughput while avoiding user fatigue. At a distance of up to 58 cm, it can read even hard-to-reach barcodes and scan them with a minimum print contrast of 20%. With its optional support, it automatically changes operating mode. When its CodeGate feature is enabled, the scanner will independently read barcodes. The information it collects will only be transferred once the user presses the CodeGate button, to confirm correct barcode readings.
