The TSC Alpha-40L is a mobile, durable direct thermal printer for manufacturing, retail, healthcare, transportation and logistics. It creates labels up to 112mm wide with a maximum print speed of 127mm/sec. at 203 dpi. All the while, its incredibly powerful 6,200 mAh lithium-ion battery ensures extended battery life. Its rubber-encapsulated plastic housing is IP54 certified against dust and water, and is shock resistant from 1.8 m. The optional protective cover even increases protection against drops of up to 2.5 m. Other features of the Alpha-40L include USB-C 2.0 interfaces for communication, NFC and Bluetooth 5.0 or Bluetooth 4.2 (optional), and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Seven control buttons, a clear 2.3-inch color LCD display, various sensors for status monitoring and the 32-bit RISC processor ensure smooth printing. The large memory consists of 128 MB SDRAM and 128 MB Flash or 256 MB SDRAM and 512 MB Flash. Additionally, the printer offers extensive accessories and an optional linerless kit for linerless labels, direct from the factory.
