This cash drawer for all POS stations is an extremely robust version that offers flexible compartments and a lightweight but strong plastic casing. The bill insert can be flexibly divided and can accommodate US dollars, British pounds and other international currencies. Depending on the configuration, the cash drawer has up to ten coin compartments and four bill compartments, and also features a front lock. A compartment for checks and another for receipts are already integrated under the coin compartments and have front slots. If necessary, two coin compartments can be converted into an additional bill compartment, and the other dividers allow six coin compartments to be transformed into eight. The UCD is compatible with all common standard point-of-sale systems and is easily managed with POS software: simply connect it to your POS printer or to an external opening interface using the standard Epson cash drawer interface. The UCD can also be opened manually using the high-quality integrated lock. An integrated switch checks whether it is open or closed and sends the information to the POS system. For even smoother operation, the UCD slides on ball bearing guides. This not only allows it to be opened and closed quickly, but also considerably reduces signs of wear, even in case of intensive use, for example in busy supermarkets.
