The BIXOLON XD5-40 series comprises the XD5-40d (direct thermal), XD5-40tR, and XD5-40t (thermal transfer) label printers. Thanks to their reliable and robust performance, these three models are ideally suited for a variety of applications in retail, manufacturing, transportation, and logistics. The XD5-40d can also be used in laboratories and pharmacies, while the XD5-40tR supports UHF RFID printing and encoding. Their maximum print speed is approximately 152 mm/s for the XD5-40tR and XD5-40t, and 178 mm/s for the XD5-40d. Print resolution is either 203 dpi or 300 dpi (high resolution), depending on the model.

Les interfaces USB, USB hôte et, selon le modèle et les besoins, série, Ethernet, Wi-Fi et Bluetooth garantissent un traitement rapide des données pour la série XD5-40. Ces imprimantes présentent un format compact à clapet, des boutons de menu intuitifs et un écran LCD en option. Un massicot et un décolleur automatiques peuvent être installés sur site, et elles sont compatibles avec les logiciels de conception d'étiquettes BIXOLON et BarTender (Seagull Scientific).
