The Epson USB-TSE is an easy-to-install TSE module in nano-USB key format for compatible POS PCs and TSE EPS servers, which meets the guidelines of the German Kassensicherungsverordnung (KassenSichV) in accordance with BSI TR-03153. The BSI certificate is valid for 5 years from the date of manufacture. Epson service is available for the duration of the contract. The standard warranty is 3 years from the date of manufacture or ends when the maximum number of supported cryptographic signatures of 20 million is reached, whichever comes first. With the Epson USB-TSE, POS PCs or EPS TSE servers are easy to modernize or upgrade via the USB port. The installed printer base remains unchanged. This concept promises a solution that is platform and interface independent, does not require an Internet connection and guarantees complete security. Simple integration via Epson API: Since the connection to the corresponding POS software must be established in addition to the hardware integration, Epson provides corresponding drivers and documentation as well as SDKs with suitable programming examples for the development and customization of the software.
