The EikonTouch 710 from HID Global is a reader for scanning fingerprints in very high quality. It is suitable for many application areas, such as PC, mobile and stationary access control. Using capacitive technology, scanned fingerprints can be verified for on-board access rights. User credentials are therefore secure – just as secure as PCs, which the EikonTouch 710 protects against unauthorized access. The reader also complies with the American FIPS 201 PIV standard. The EikonTouch 710 captures wet and dry fingerprints. Even rough skin poses no problems, so the device works reliably even in winter. Depending on the requirements of the area of ​​use, you receive it with a 50 or 182.88 cm long cable, as well as with a USB 2.0 or micro USB interface. Connecting is quick and easy, as the EikonTouch 710 supports Windows, Linux and Android. It also features a compact form factor and is usable over a wide temperature range of 0° to +40°C.
