Honeywell has equipped its PD45 industrial label printer with minimal internal mechanical parts and a metal frame. Thus, it has a robust, compact and slim appearance and is ideal for different workspaces in production, retail, logistics and healthcare. It creates labels at a maximum print speed of 200 mm/sec at 203 dpi or 100 mm/sec at 300 dpi. The PD45 is also equipped with a powerful 800 MHz Arm Cortex-A7 processor, 128 MB of flash memory and 128 MB of DDR3 SDRAM. The industrial print head supports direct thermal and thermal transfer printing modes and can be easily switched and replaced. Additionally, Honeywell's patented dual-sensor positioning technology supports dynamic positioning, ensuring a minimum label height of 5mm and vertical positioning accuracy of 0.5mm. Two sets of adjustable pressure bars and two media guides ensure precise paper feeding and help prevent wrinkled ribbons and print dirt. To cover even more application scenarios, the PD45 additionally features peeling, rewinding and cutting assemblies.
