The Xenon Ultra 1962g from Honeywell offers retailers strong scanning performance and first-class functions. Among other things, it has a »Green Dot« aiming system that improves target detection and scanning accuracy. Bluetooth 4.2 extends the freedom of movement of employees at the POS. Other interfaces include keyboard wedge, RS-232 and USB.

The Xenon Ultra 1962g offers two different power supply options: Either with a 3,300 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery or with supercapacitors. The supercapacitors hold their charge for hours when fully charged. If the user forgets to place the scanner in the charging station before taking a break, this has no effect on operation when the user returns. In addition, the supercapacitors are fully charged via the USB port in less than four minutes. When the battery is low, two independently configurable charge alerts in both power supply options remind the user to place the scanner in the base station for charging to ensure continuous operation.
