Securely capturing data via a chip or memory card is simple with the Identiv SPR332 v2.0 PIN Pad Reader. Depending on requirements, it can even be subsequently adapted to current requirements and function expansions, so that it not only offers high-quality hardware, but also long-term investment security. It is also suitable for user authentication. For optional entry of a PIN code for the corresponding chip card, the reader has a keyboard with ten number keys and three input keys. This transfers the PIN code directly to the card, directly via the PC. This also makes the device particularly secure, because the PIN cannot be adapted or intercepted by viruses or Trojans. To control the reader (e.g. read or write to the card), simply and conveniently connect the smart card reader to the USB interface of the respective computer via the cable (1.5 m). The transmission speed is very high, up to 600 kbps, and guarantees fast and instant data processing. The device has a compact footprint of just 70 x 120 x 40 mm (W x D x H) and a weight of just 250 grams, making it ideal as a desktop device. Additionally, it can be used with one hand. Two LEDs and an additional acoustic signal indicate to the user a successful or unsuccessful capture. The drive's design ensures long-term use, handling over 200,000 plug cycles without interruption. Thanks to the high-quality sealing of the housing, the SPR332 v2.0 is also used in all medical and pharmaceutical areas, as well as in the laboratory or in production.
