Mountable monitors give an elegant impression and provide the best possible integration into various environments, such as kiosk and self-service solutions, even in exhibition stands. With iiyama's mountable touch monitors, you receive standard and wide models ranging from 10.1" to 65" (26 to 165 cm) with particularly long life cycles. All models feature a bezel-less touch surface with projected capacitive multi-touch technology. The surface is scratch and impact resistant to ensure durability, which is very important when technology is often used in public places and schools. The touch technology even works smoothly with scratches on the glass. Capacitive touch technology, installed in iiyama touch monitors, uses a network of sensors made of microfine wires. They are integrated into the surface of the glass. Touching the screen with fingers (or gloves) or a magnetic stylus changes the electrical signals, which calculate the touch position and transmit it to the controller. The integrated glass surface is very durable and scratch resistant. The monitors are certified to IP65 standards, for protection against ingress of dust and moisture. The presentation is always true to life and exceptionally sharp, even in Full HD. Whether directly in front, from the side, upwards or downwards: thanks to a generous viewing angle, readability is guaranteed everywhere. In public use areas, simply lock all control keys to protect against unauthorized access. Via the existing interfaces – VGA, DVI and Displayport, as well as USB for the touch controller – integration is child's play. Power supply and connection cable are included in delivery. Some models are equipped with palm detection. When the touchscreen is used with a stylus, this technique ensures that simultaneous contact with a finger or palm is ignored. Palm detection automatically activates when you touch the screen with a stylus. If the screen is not touched with a stylus for more than 1 second, the touch screen will automatically return to finger mode.
