Promag MF7, RS232

The new MF700 transponder reader from Promag enables customer-specific data collection with RFID tags to be carried out absolutely professionally. The reader scans all tag information (not just serial numbers) stored in different sectors and MAD1/2 of the transponder. The chips are available in different versions and have internal coding to ensure a high level of data security and professional protection of personal data. This makes the MF700 perfect for access control, user identification, inventories, payment systems, patient registration in hospitals, etc. The reader uses transponders that offer multiple directories for applications. This means that instead of only saving patient numbers, labels can also contain data such as blood type, diagnosis and treatment plans. If your application only requires reading the ID number, you can also get a lightweight version of the MF700's ID reader, the MF7. The MF7 reads MIFARE 1K and MIFARE 4K transponders (UID) and is a simplified version of the MF700 that enables cost-effective RFID solutions. Its compact size of just 83x47x16 mm makes it easy to integrate the MF700 into existing systems or install it into machines and cabinets. Installation on metal is also no problem. A variable power supply of 7.5 to 12V makes it compatible with many systems. A weather-resistant housing even allows outdoor installation (-10° to +60°C) or installation in other harsh conditions. Each device receives a unique identifier. As a result, the reader can be easily used in existing networks when used in combination with the WEC-200 Ethernet converter (for more information, see page ). Now large production facilities and businesses can be networked instantly and entire office buildings or hospitals can be easily secured with professional authentication. Integrated RS-232, Wiegand (26-128 bit) and Magstripe interfaces provide a high degree of flexibility for connectivity options. The MF700 is also available as a development kit for immediate use – cable, power adapter, software, transponder cards (three pieces, 1K) and a PCR-310U for individual programming included.
