Zebra's compact DS55 series includes high-performance fixed scanners for retail, hospitality, light industrial and transportation applications. With Zebra's intelligent imaging technology and a powerful megapixel sensor, they capture 1D, 2D and OCR barcodes the first time, even damaged or misprinted barcodes. The large, omnidirectional field of view makes scanning even easier by reducing the need to carefully position barcodes for successful scanning. The DS55 takes up little space and is very easy to install – for example at the checkout, under the counter or in a self-service terminal. The flat front panel ensures flush mounting. The DS55 comes standard with a ¼-20 camera connection, which allows for quick and easy mounting of accessories such as clamps, rods, swivel joints and much more. The versatile 3-in-1 mounting accessory is a monitor stand, wall mount and presentation stand in one. The magnetic mounting surface holds the scanner securely in place and allows it to pivot to one side or the other if necessary.
