With improved location awareness, retailers share real-time coupons and deals with customers while gaining insights into their behavior. The 4.7-inch screen also provides enough space to display real-time promotions, item information and in-store navigation, as well as provide information about the items in the shopping cart and the current total amount. The display and imager window are scratch and impact resistant thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass, and the smooth unibody housing is made of chemical-resistant plastic and withstands cleaning with common disinfectants. To unlock a device, the customer scans their loyalty card at the kiosk or presents an NFC loyalty card, bank card or smartphone digital wallet on the PS30 screen. Then, barcodes are automatically scanned as soon as they are in the scanning area even those that are misprinted, smudged or scratched.
