The Zebra ZT200 series bridges the gap between Zebra desktop printers (such as the ZD421 and ZD621) and tabletop printers (such as the ZT400 family). The series is particularly designed for the production of labels in warehouses, logistics and production. Depending on your requirements, choose between three models, the ZT220, the even more powerful ZT230 or the ZT231. When conceptualizing the models, Zebra incorporated user feedback from the start. The results are intuitive, easy-to-handle label printers with a rugged design for accurate, precise results. Use direct thermal or thermal transfer printers in connection with another printer, thanks to ZPL support. RS-232 serial and USB ports are integrated as standard. Optionally, expand the spectrum with a 10/100 Ethernet or Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n print server, as well as a parallel interface – standard built-in or manually from the outside. All models feature rugged housing and a compact footprint. The ZT230's media cover is also made of metal; on the ZT220 it is made of impact-resistant plastic. The double-folded cover has an opening radius of approximately 10 cm, so the overall size of the printer is compressed enough to require little storage space. Changing color ribbons and label rolls is easy – just open the cover and replace – without any annoying threading. Additionally, the tape capacity is approximately 450m. The visualization window always gives you a quick overview of the material condition. High print quality for barcodes, words and graphics is guaranteed by the resolution of 203 or 300 dpi. Also benefit from Zebra's proven quality for tool-free access and maintenance to standard components, such as the print head and roller. To maintain or repair all other parts, you only need three common tools. The ZT230's display and ZT231's color touchscreen support intuitive printer handling, simplify voice commands and control printer properties. Additional LED displays provide the user with information on print status and maintenance needs. Even untrained personnel can use ZT200 series printers intuitively. The illuminated and movable media sensor is also visible through the inserted media, for optimal positioning. Colored markings inside further simplify handling.
